Just when you feel like giving up, stop, reset, start again

You feel like giving up, everything has gotten too much lately and you are at the end of your tether? 

Then comes the phrase " I QUIT!"

Stop 

just wait, hear me out first. 

Hi I'm Jennie, your free coach for this Blog and i'm going to give you some tips on,  how to start turning things around. 

It's going to take time, but anything worth it is worth waiting a little bit for isn't it?

If you have already been waiting for things to change, a little longer is n't going to be much different and the time is going to pass anyway so trying something new can only make things better, right? 

So let's get started. 

One of my favourite words is TENACITY. 

Dictionary definition states it means: The dermination to continue what you are doing. 

So whats the difference lets say between, Tenacity and Perseverance?

Tenacity is more about the mental strength to resist opposition, the quality of being and staying determined at what you are doing and perseverance is more about the way we continue with a task even while we are thinking of others ways that would be more beneficial.  Such as persevering with a job we hate but we strive to look for other work while doing this job. 

So why don't we just use the work Persevere? 

Well you can, we still have to persevere through these tough challenges that aren't right for us, but we are talking about tenacity here.

So let's get back to it. 

Tenacity is going back to the mind set of, ' i have to do this job i hate but i'm going to look for other work (persevere),  but in my mind i feel like giving up the search, why bother it's too difficult, maybe i will settle for the job i have'.  Tenacity, that mental strength shouts NOOOOOOO 

'DON'T GIVE UP! YOU MUST NOT GIVE UP' 

'Dont' stop focussing on your dreams until you get there! '

Some people are naturally more tenacious than others almost seeming stubborn in their quest for success. 

Not settling for anything else, not stopping until they get it. 

 

When we are at our lowest point it can be challenging to be tenacious, our drive may have ran out of fuel! 

But by practicing regular tasks and challenges can get us back to feeling like we can take on the world again

How can one develop tenacity?

1. Set clear goals: Define what you want to achieve and break it down into smaller, manageable steps. This will help you stay focused and motivated along the way.

2. Embrace failure as a learning opportunity: Understand that setbacks and failures are a natural part of the journey towards success. Learn from your mistakes, adapt your approach, and keep moving forward.

3. Cultivate a growth mindset: Believe in your ability to improve and develop your skills. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and view obstacles as temporary roadblocks that can be overcome.

4. Stay positive and optimistic: Maintain a positive attitude even when faced with difficulties. Surround yourself with supportive and like-minded individuals who can provide encouragement and motivation.

5. Practice self-discipline: Develop the habit of self-discipline by setting daily routines, prioritizing tasks, and staying committed to your goals. Avoid procrastination and stay focused on the task at hand.
